The institute respects intellectual property rights when designing training courses on its educational platform or on any of its social media accounts, such as images, advertising posters, and other published materials.
Trainer Commitment to Intellectual Property Rights When Writing Course Content
The institute converts scientific content prepared by trainers into digital content.
Trainers participating in content preparation are required to respect intellectual property and publishing rights, and to mention all references and sources used in writing the course content.
Before starting to draft the content, the trainer signs an undertaking and acknowledgment form confirming that the content respects all intellectual property laws, licenses, copyright, and authoring rights in accordance with the regulations applied in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Trainers also undertake to mention the scientific references and sources used in preparing the course content.
If open-source training content is used, the trainer is required to respect all licenses of these open resources.
The trainer acknowledges that the intellectual property of content written by Gulf Business Network Training Center belongs to the institute, noting that any course content writing process by the institute is preceded by authorization from the course trainer and the institute management.
Trainer Commitment When Uploading Content to the Institute’s Educational Platform
The trainer at Gulf Business Network Training Center acknowledges that all content uploaded to the educational platform, including recorded courses, exam questions, or surveys, must respect intellectual property rights and copyright principles.
The trainer also acknowledges that all courses uploaded to the platform become at the disposal of Gulf Business Network Training Center, so that the center may use them for development or training purposes.
Commitment to the Policy for Saving and Using Materials on the Institute’s Educational Platform
Gulf Business Network Training Center provides a set of systems and programs for trainees to benefit from, such as the e-learning system, the virtual classroom system on the Moodle platform, and other digital systems.
Using these systems results in the production of a group of content and materials. Some are uploaded by the user in the form of files of different types, while others are produced by the system in the form of statistical data regarding the trainee’s attendance percentage, interaction with course content, and scores achieved in tests.
The handling of these materials is subject to a clear policy drafted by Gulf Business Network Training Center, taking into consideration intellectual property rights and publishing and usage laws, with the aim of classifying materials according to their level of sensitivity, confidentiality, and associated risks.
The necessary policies have also been established to control and use these materials for the benefit of the institute’s training system.
Both trainer and trainee are fully committed to maintaining the confidentiality of login information for the educational platform and not disclosing it to any other person, as it is private to them only.
Both trainer and trainee are committed, in the event that discount codes for exams or courses are available, to keeping them confidential and using them only personally for registration in the institute’s courses or test centers, and not distributing them to others.
All training materials and packages are available in the trainee’s personal account, and the trainee can access them at any time. However, they may not be published or distributed, whether online or in print, as they are considered part of the rights of Gulf Business Network Training Center.
